Letter M

I finally located my magnetic poetry kit in a box yesterday.  I just love the things you can come up with.  Sometimes it is quite silly, other times something that really resonates.  So here are two offerings from my poetry play time!

Magnetic Poetry

  4. Hello, MJ! I love magnetic poetry! I have mine on my refrigerator and I like to start a poem on the fridge and my husband will add another line and back and forth we go. It gets pretty hilarious (and sometimes naughty, LoL!). When people come over they like to play around with the words, too. It's fun!

Have a lovely weekend and happy A to Z!!

  5. My roommate has one of these kits but it's the Shakespearean one where you can come up with funny phrases in old English. XD Our refrigerator is covered in them.

Good luck during the second half of the A to Z Challenge! :)

  6. This is fun. If you are a teacher, cut up words from magazines; you need many, many words. Put bunches on paper plates and have the students create poetry from them and then paste their creation on paper. Works for adults too, a party game.

  7. I am such a fan of magnetic poetry too! It's as you said - sometimes goofy and sometimes profound. I have a set in my office and kids will wander in and play with it and leave the most interesting thoughts.

  8. I don't get it! Still, good attempt. Who am I to judge something when I don't know the rules? Blog on!

  9. Oh, oh, oh!! I simply MUST get myself some magnetic poetry! I just love playing fun, silly games or projects that add a good dose of laughter to my day. The more ridiculous, the better. :D

Great job on your daily A-Z challenge, MJ! :)
