What to do, what to do?

Okay here it goes, look I can actually write words that form sentences and not just poems! :) First things first, let me say thank you to all my followers and commenters.  Now that A to Z is over I'm not quite sure what to do with this blog?  This is the same problem I have encountered in the past, since this is my (clears throat, blushing) third time re-establishing this blog.  I guess I just wanted to be one of the cool kids and say hey, I have a blog too, not stopping to realize that said blog must have content that other people want to read.  I do regret my last deletion since I lost all of the followers that I gained from last years A to Z challenge, but this is what happens when we (I) act like a child and throw a hissy fit.  So maybe there should be no regrets but at least a lesson learned.

I want to keep you coming back to visit and gain other followers too so I should figure this is out.  Any suggestions fellow bloggers, is there something you would like to see on this blog? Please be nice with your suggestions and I will consider them accordingly.

  1. You could start by just blogging something one or two days a week. Start with something you can closely relate to a poem or a book you read, maybe a movie you saw and then go from there. Congrats on making it to the end of the Challenge

  2. Congrats on finishing the challenge. I'm not a typical blogger per say either....I only blog when I have poems that I've written. I think my followers stay my followers since I don't congest their blog roll with random nothings! LOL If you just feel like you need to blog something, I'd start with maybe once a week, until you make it a habit!

  3. Congrats on finishing! I agree with Kiana and Gossip_Girl... start small. Blog once or twice a week about something that really interests you. If you're passionate about something, you'll draw others in with your fervor. (Says the newbie blogger LOL)

As an aside... we call my daughter MJ, because some people have a hard time pronouncing Moira (MOY-rah). She's Moira Jade :)

  5. Hmmm, that's hard to say. I do agree though with one of the comments, don't push yourself to blog more often than you want to. I do about two to three times a week.

And then just blog about what comes to you. What you're curious about. What others might be curious about.

I don't know what the secret is. I think it's mostly, just be yourself :)

  6. Hey MJ - Saw your comment on my Word Cloud Wednesday blog.

I say go for it! I certainly don't hold the monopoly on word clouds. :)

BTW: Hope over at http://hoperoberson.blogspot.com is the one who turned me onto Wordle. It's all about sharing ideas.

Good luck! I'll be watching to see what you come up with. :D
